Someone wondered what it's called when you're overdubbing some ambiance or sounds or noises or guitars or field recordings onto a recording without being able to listen to what you're doing, and we decided we don't have a name for that. However, it seemed like a good idea after that discussion to create an entire album based on visually arranging audio tracks in a DAW. That kernel of an idea turned into And I Am Going to Take My Eye Out While I Eat.

Some artistic license was taken in editing.

This is noise, and is best listened to in headphones. Although care has been taken to assure a disjointed and disruptive experience, side effects may also include contemplation of patterns in the wall covering, meditative trance states, and the uncomfortable feeling that this is NOT what you thought Halaka was supposed to be, accompanied by the realization that really none of this, and none of us, are the way we thought they would be and no matter how hard we try it's just going to keep going in some other direction so we might as well sit in the closet beneath the stairs with our headphones on, yearning for the days before the overlords devoured our sky.
