The Flemish Quarter is not on a Pennsylvania Hillside, though at times it feels like it.

About this release:
To the best of our recollection, Flemish Quarter was started in 2005. Can you remember 2005? I certainly can't. Later, in 2007, it was scheduled for release as an insert in People Weekly Magazine, but that project was abandoned as a result of contract disputes. It rested in bits and pieces, mostly dormant, sometimes scratching at the walls of the basement, from then until 2021, when one of Halaka's principals decided to release it digitally. It is possible that some of the material was lost, but some new material was added after a long hostage negotiation with many dusty hard drives.

Very few floppy disks were hurt in the making of this album.
