Recorded on January 27, 2002, and released on January 27, 2022. All I've ever wanted to do was show you exactly how absurd is the passage of time, and everything in it.
Twenty years ago:
Fanch said, "I'm just following you."
Madhog said, "We wanted to let you know why we are going to be driving around in circles."
Fanch said, "I'm just following you."
Madhog said, "."

Fanch said, "I'm just following you."
Madhog drove out into the 3 lanes that continued to go in the wrong direction, so that he could get into the left lane to do a U-turn into the 3 lanes that go in the direction they needed to go. Fanch followed. Madhog stopped at a stoplight, behind a woman in a black pickup truck with its tailgate down. The woman's arms were flailing about as she searched everywhere in the vehicle for something. The pickup truck then began to roll slowly backwards toward the car.
Madhog said, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" while holding the horn of his vehicle.
The pickup truck said, "."
The driver of the pickup truck continued flailing around, and the truck continued rolling backwards.
Madhog pushed hard onto the wheel, but the horn of the vehicle did not increase in volume. The tailgate of the pickup truck climbed up the hood of the car. The lady looked up suddenly, apparently startled by this new turn of events.

Waking. Everyone is still sleeping. Someone's on the floor, on the cushions. A camera. Night vision. Damp basements and three shadows on a beach. On a hillside in the snow? A sled, 20 years later.
Records are best left unrecorded.
Walking to the cars in the dark, starting the engines, scraping the frost from the windshields. The last day ends like every other last day.
